It has emerged that Penicuik’s local art association is close to closure.
The local organisation which runs West St Art’s centre is reportly on the brink of closure after revealing that due to its decline in committee members, it may lack purpose to continue.
In an emotional plee for help the PCAA have said that
None of us wants to see the PCAA close but without support from the members and the wider community we cannot continue.
They have scheduled an emergency meeting for Sunday 13 January 2:30pm in West Street Arts Centre and they are encouraging as many people to go as possible to try to salvage the faltering 35 year old association.
This continues the trend of decline within the community. Recently the Chinese buffet restaurant has closed “until further notice”.
