Fresh from Dragon’s Den, the yoga franchise catering to pregnant woman has launched their first class in the region.

Taking place every Tuesday at 6:50PM in the Penicuik Library, the latest fitness craze “Yogabellies” will be making yoga accessible to mothers-to-be.

Rosy Grieco is excited to be part of YogaBellies and now be offering classes in Penicuik. She said:

I love being part of YogaBellies and really value what our sessions can bring to women, babies and children. Our classes are about so much more than just exercise, we use authentic yogic techniques in a fun, non-threatening way. The majority of people who come to YogaBellies classes are completely new to Yoga and we have a really great community of women helping women.

Founder Cheryl MacDonald and her husband Mike wowed the Dragon’s Den panel and entered an agreement with Duncan Bannatyne for a fifty thousand pound investment in return for a 35% stake in the company.

Mrs MacDonald’s experience as a mother has seen her business idea go international, with franchises being made available to those wanting to share in the success, whilst delivering a specially formatted yoga class to expectant mothers. Today there are over eighty franchises worldwide.

For more information, contact class teacher Rosy on 07800889176 or email her at rosy@yogabellies.co.uk.
